It was almost three o'clock in the afternoon and the sun was burning, when I unhinged my clothes from the clothes line outside our boarding house. I'd carefully get off my clothes from the barbed wire when I unintentionally saw this guy from the neighborhood. He is wearing a white t-shirt and black maong pants and he is talking to an old man which I knew the foreman in building the apartment along the highway. I presumed that he is the son of the owner of the apartment because he gave the foreman an instruction on how to placed a pieces of tiles in the wall. I
hurriedly went inside the boarding house calling my two-board mate names whom I
knew are after with nice looking guy, they are Wayeng and Jess. They were
enjoying their selves taking a bath in the “poso” found in the kitchen but when
they heard that there is a handsome guy next door, they both ran outside to
take a look. Geez..”women”! They went back to the water pump, filled the
“timba” with water, and excitedly went outside.
“Hey,
what are you doing?” I asked.
“Hmmmm…magdidilig?” they replied.
I laughed
hard not because of the water dripping from their wet clothes but in the idea
of watering the plants outside just to get the attention of the guy.
Unfortunately, before the two crazy flirt board mates of mine started to do
what they planned, the guy get in to his car and drove away leaving the two
girls pissed and I, still laughing (wahahaha).
